Inside Lysefjord you’ll find the idyllic bay of Vika – which in our opinion is one of the most beautiful locations in Lysefjord! In Vika, you’ll find Vika Gård, a small farm and sawmill, which has been in the same family for many generations.
Eirik Vika and his wife Marie, has put many hours into restoring and modernizing the old sawmill and houses, which they now offer for accommodation.
While Nordic Paddling doesn’t dispose of any of the accommodations up for rent nor receive any commission, we’d like to support and recommend our lovely neighbours!
A cosy little house, perfect for backpackers who want to explore the spectacular Lysefjorden. Surrounded by the spectacular mountains, nature, and Pulpit Rock only 15 minutes drive from the house. There are also several nice hiking trails and guided kayaking tours just outside the door. The house has no kitchen but a small refrigerator to store food.

The cabin is part of a complex located all the way to the shore. The farm has several different animals like sheep, rabbits, cats and hens. There are several nice hiking trails and guided kayaking tours just outside the door.
The cabin has a shared entrance with an old hard workshop/sawmill. The cabin consists of two separate apartments on the first and second floor. The apartments are not luxurious but cosy. The outdoor area is large, free and private. Possibly one of the best locations for accommodation in Lysefjord.
