Enjoy a half-day of kayaking Lysefjord, which offers pristine scenery, seals, sea-eagles, waterfalls and a spectacular view of the famous Pulpit Rock seen from below. This adventure is perfect for anyone who would like to try kayaking on one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords!

NB! We do not take “drop-in”. All tours must be booked in advance.

About The Tour

We’ll welcome you at the beach, where you will be given a brief introduction and safety briefing before departing. We’ll paddle further into the fjord from the beach, passing beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and we may even see the local wildlife.

We’ll stop for lunch at a nice spot in the fjord.

Where & When

A little north of Forsand, you'll find our small farm from where the trip starts.
We’ll welcome you at the beach at 10.00. Here you will be given a brief introduction and safety briefing before departing.


Yes – you can store luggage at the small boathouse at the beach.

The minimum size is 2 people and the maximum size is 8 people.

We use the “Boreal Design Esperanto” double kayaks. The kayaks are stable and fast, perfect for anyone on a kayak trip in Norway.

The minimum age is 18, or 14 if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Yes. You must be able to swim to attend this trip. You will be asked to complete and sign a waiver stating this when you attend the trip. 


Vi forsøker i Nordic Paddling å begrense smittespredningen. Det gjør vi med ulike tiltak:

  • Vi oppfordre til at alle deltakere på turene våre, overholder 1-meters reglen og sørger for god håndhygiene. Håndsprit er tilgjengelig ved ankomst. 
  • Maks gruppe størrelse på 8 deltaker + 1 guide
  • Al utstyr og kontaktflater blir desinfisert etter hver tur.
